The Great Lake Walk Society takes pleasure in extending thanks to all who

Island Savings community mascot Penny the Owl flew into Lake Cowichan
recently to assist with a special cheque presentation to the Great Lake Walk
Society. Island Savings is once again proud to support the Society with
their annual 56 km Great Lake Walk and ultra marathon event which will take
place on Saturday, September 18th, 2010. Joan Hieta, Chair of the GLWS and
Society member Bertha Gravelle accepted the cheque from Penny and new Lake
Cowichan Branch Manager Michelle Lancaster.
